Ecotone, derived from the Greek eco – (oikos or household) and tone, (tones or tension), is a place where the ecological components are in tension.  This is the transition zone between two or more different ecological communities (biocenosis).

This transdisciplinary project consist in two interconnected artworks (or aspects):

The first aspect,"Presence & co-dependence", is an light-art installation based on an a Michelson Interferometer, a laser beam arrangement that is very sensible to waves or floating particles in the close environment. The result is a light pattern interference, sensible to the presence of the spectator, composing a light poetics of the co-creation between the visitor and the physical environment, in which an individual and the no visible floating elements around them, interact.
